For 50 years, Middlesex has built more than projects. It has built a reputation grounded in quality, trust, and long-standing relationships. Across decades of growth and industry change, the company has remained focused on delivering work that stands the test of time.
To mark this milestone, Middlesex created a 50th anniversary commemorative book designed to capture its journey in a way that feels both meaningful and lasting. The goal was not just to document history, but to reflect the people, values, and projects that have defined the company.
To bring this vision together, Middlesex partnered with Jenkins Group for a fully guided publishing experience.
Capturing 50 Years of Progress
Telling a 50-year story requires more than listing milestones. It takes thoughtful storytelling, structure, and a clear narrative that connects the past to the present.
Through our Writer Match process, Middlesex was paired with a professional writer who worked closely with their team to develop a cohesive manuscript. Drawing from internal materials, project highlights, and key insights, the story was shaped into a polished narrative of approximately 40,000 words.
The final manuscript reflects not only the company’s growth, but also the culture and people behind it.
Designed to Be Experienced
With the content in place, the focus shifted to how the story would be presented. A commemorative book should feel intentional from the first page to the last.
The interior and cover design were developed to balance text with more than 100 images, creating a layout that feels clean, structured, and visually engaging. Every spread was designed to guide the reader naturally through the story without overwhelming the content.
Produced as a 12″ x 9″ hardcover, the 200-page format provides the space needed to showcase both narrative and visuals in a way that feels substantial and refined.
The Project Scope
Jenkins Group partnered with Middlesex to oversee the full production of the anniversary book, delivering 2,000 high-quality hardcover copies.

Built to Represent the Brand
This book serves as more than a reflection of the past. It is a tool that Middlesex can use to share its story in a tangible, lasting format.
Whether displayed in offices, shared with clients, or given to employees, the book reinforces the company’s identity and communicates its values in a way that digital formats often cannot.
It becomes a physical representation of everything the company has built over the last five decades.
