JOB DESCRIPTION
Jenkins Group is seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to enhance our digital presence and drive revenue for our custom book publishing and book awards divisions. This role involves creating content and managing digital marketing efforts across our websites, social media, ecommerce store, CRM, email marketing platforms, and third-party sites, along with collaborating with our agency partner.
If you excel in digital marketing, have a knack for copywriting, possess a strategic mindset, and are eager to learn, this position is perfect for you. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and Book Awards Manager to achieve goals and KPIs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Email Marketing
- Manage and facilitate cold, nurturing, and automated email marketing efforts
- Develop and execute annual email marketing plans, including writing, database management, and reporting
- Experience with automation tools like Zoho and Apollo is a plus
- Website & E-commerce
- Manage and update website and ecommerce store content, graphics, and writing daily
- Continuously audit and improve user experience and assist with website refreshes
- Assist with the integration and management of Zoho forms and chatbot campaigns
- Social Media
- Manages social media content calendars, schedules, deploys, and grows the social media networking platforms (e.g. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) to support all departments
- Assists with paid social media campaigns
- Assists with video creation and editing as needed
- Third-party Management
- Assist in managing third-party advertising agency campaigns, including SEO and PPC programs
- Maintain online presence and enhance reputation through content updates and review management
- Content Development
- Assist with copywriting for various campaigns, including email marketing, website content, and social media posts
- Create graphics and edit video/photo content for digital marketing campaigns
- Assist with content calendar and promotion of podcast
- Strategy & Reporting
- Conduct market analyses to identify customer needs, new business opportunities, innovative trends, and potential selling strategies
- Provide monthly digital marketing reports, detailing results, trends, and ROI
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (or related field)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Asana, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms like SendGrid
- Willingness to cross-train and provide support in related areas of operations
- Flexibility to handle other duties as assigned
